Special Evening Seminar by the Gender Equality Promotion Committee
"The Promotion of Gender Equality"

We would like to cordially invite you all to an evening seminar for the promotion of gender equality. We have invited two lecturers to speak at the seminar, Carol Ann Mason and Noriko Osumi, professors at Columbia University and Tohoku University, respectively. Prof. Mason is a distinguished researcher on neurogenesis and cell biology and she has contributed greatly to the promotion of gender equality in the United States, particularly as the president of the Society for Neuroscience in 2013-2014. Prof. Osumi is a well-known pioneer in the promotion of gender equality in Japan. We will hold discussions and sincerely hope that all participants will strengthen their relationships over a casual dinner (free of charge).

Please don't hesitate to join us. We will have a child care room (18:00-20:30, free of charge). We sincerely welcome all persons regardless of gender.
